Some tips

Creative in nature
110 participants 220 photographs

After an initial review, we have seen that there are a lot of really good pictures. Many of the images were not within the theme of creative photography in nature and we had to discard them, much to our regret.

Afterwards, we ended up with about 40 images. Then, after discarding some of them, we chose 10 and, finally, we voted the winner photos among the last ones.

The ratings were very tight and some only differ by one point, so any photography could have been the winner.

We feel that this photography perfectly meets the theme and the essence of this contest.

This photo has a lot of previous field work. It is very difficult to get a wild animal pose on where you want to photograph. As an added difficulty is a nocturnal animal so the location and working conditions harden even more.

The composition of the image is very good and the idea of including the moon through a double exposure on camera too. It completes the picture and makes the viewer clearly see this nocturnal carnivore habits.

To find a fly in the ointment, we all agree that perhaps the frontal lighting could have been improved a little, especially in the window frame, lowering it a bit.
